Journal of Commonwealth Law

The Journal of Commonwealth Law is published by UdeM’s common law programme and is devoted to the study of comparative approaches to public and private law issues across the common law world.  The journal is published twice each year and is available online as well as in a print edition.

Forthcoming editions include:

Fall 2016:  Good Faith in Contract

A symposium considering the outlines and remedies for breach of the duty of good faith in contract.

Spring 2017:  Bills of Rights

A symposium to mark the 35th anniversary of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. This issue will consider how charters or bills of rights have developed in the various commonwealth jurisdictions as well as proposals and prospects for reform.
